Janne has comprehensive experience in career consulting and leadership development.
She concentrates on leadership coaching and career consulting for emerging and senior leaders, as well as working with people in transition. She also facilitates action and peer learning groups.

She has a deep understanding of the public service and the state sector.
From 2011 until the beginning of 2015 Janne combined designing and leading a year-long Emerging Senior Leaders’ programme for a major government agency with working in her own career coaching practice. The programme has been recognised for leadership excellence by the Chief Executive, the State Services Commissioner, and the Institute of Public Administration of New Zealand (IPANZ).
Prior to this Janne worked with the Government Leadership Development Centre (LDC) for six years, developing key relationships with LDC’s accredited providers, senior public sector leaders, the State Services Commission (SSC) and the Victoria Leadership Development Centre (Melbourne).
Before joining the public sector Janne worked for national and international consulting practices over a ten year period, providing career and organisational development services.
Her work is primarily in these areas:

- coaching towards great leadership - from management to leadership
- career development and transition coaching.
She has a Bachelor of Arts degree in History and French, with postgraduate papers in Organisation, Management, and Counselling Principles and Practice.
